This is a static tutorial site. You do not need an account.
What the site does
The site has no live advertising, upload fields or feedback submission forms. Search filters tutorials in your browser and does not submit your keywords. Interactive diagrams run locally; we do not send folding progress, step choices or self-reported folding success to a server. We do not add visitor identifiers, cookies or browser storage.
Traffic measurement
Cloudflare Web Analytics is configured for the production site at foldwithme.com. On that exact HTTPS host, a manual JavaScript beacon measures page views, visits, page paths, referrers, country, browser and device type, and page performance. It is not installed on feedback or error pages.
When enabled, the beacon loads from static.cloudflareinsights.com and reports to cloudflareinsights.com/cdn-cgi/rum. Cloudflare documents that Web Analytics does not use cookies or localStorage or fingerprint individuals; it does not log URL query strings. Page-performance diagnostics can include element selectors, resource URLs and layout measurements. Ordinary network requests still expose connection metadata to the provider. Visits and page views are not exact counts of people, tutorial starts, completed tutorials or successful paper folds. Blocking, disabled JavaScript and network failures can leave gaps; automated traffic may also be present. All four illustrated tutorials remain readable without analytics or JavaScript. The interactive controls do not depend on the beacon.
Local and branch/hash preview hosts do not load the beacon. To opt out on a production page, add ?analytics=off to its URL (or &analytics=off if it already has a query). This switch is per page, is not saved in cookies or browser storage, and must be included again when navigating to another page. Automated production checks apply it to every navigation. Ad-layout test pages also skip measurement.
Advertisement layout testing
Real ads are not enabled. The optional ?adPreview=1 layout test displays labeled local mock boxes only. It does not contact an advertising network. Normal pages show no ad placeholders. Future live advertising requires a separate integration and an updated privacy notice.
Hosting and ordinary web requests
Cloudflare Pages serves the site. Cloudflare may process your IP address and request metadata to deliver and secure it. See Cloudflare’s privacy policy. This notice does not promise zero infrastructure logging or a particular retention period.
The website is publicly accessible without Cloudflare Access authentication. The main production host permits search indexing; preview hosts and feedback/error pages request noindex. Noindex is not access control. The source repository remains private.
Links and feedback
Source links open external websites with their own privacy practices. They are contacted when you follow their links. Feedback is shared through the conversation where you received the link, not collected on this site.
